Chigusa no Hana

A series of prints by Kono Bairei just before the turn of the 19th century, Chigusa no Hana is a collection of works focusing on flowers and plant life. In his typical style, Bairei recreates the images in exacting detail, careful not to overstate the strength of his strokes when creating the shape of his subjects.
