The work presented here by Beishu shows many brushstroke techniques. From fine, sharp strokes, to thick, watered down wash strokes, Beishu uses these different approaches to bring both animals and plants to life. The limited subject matter and copious empty space is characteristic of traditional Japanese artwork.
