The Colour-Prints of Hiroshige

Color prints of Hiroshige.jpg

A collection of some of Hiroshige's best works, here you can see the amalgamation of Japanese, Western and Chinese styles. Hiroshige often uses people as the focus of his work, using them in tandem with nature to create perspective and show harmony between the two. Focus is drawn along angles across the composition, and subdued colors giving the work a realistic feel despite a lack of sharp details. People are often in the middle of movement, giving a sense of purpose.
